I can see how asking players to uproot their families and move mid-season to another country would be a problem, no matter how much money they are making.



The Rays definitely need a new stadium, and it would be better in Tampa. But as the Marlins have learned, getting a new stadium doesn't necessarily mean better attendance. That said, there are many additional reasons why the Marlins are challenged to build a fan base and draw customers, including the dismantling of the team every time it starts to get decent.



It would be nice to have baseball in Montreal again. Just not sure this is the way to do it.

If MLB goes to 32 teams I want to see realignment into 4 leagues of 8 teams each. No divisions, no interleague play, just 8 teams playing each other as they did from 1901-1961. Top 3 teams from each league go to a post-season tournament.
