We haven't been doing well in recent games when the pitching match-ups have been in our favor. We won't even have that in this one.

Could be a Yuge call in a tight game, every bit as Yuge as it was bad. Still not as bad as the one earlier in the week between MIL & StL (the one Gary is mentioning right now) but Purdy darn bad.



And by the time McCutcheon slightly touched the grass he was already past Lindor who had given up trying to pursue him.



Not a good decision by Lindor btw

Lindor has been every bit the sucker at the plate, but it's almost fútbol-esque what a defensive captain he is out on the pitch. He made a Little League play and got a pair of Little League calls on that double play and he almost willed it into being with his aplomb and confidence.



I don't want to Jeterbate over him or anything, but it's almost hilarious how lost he is at the plate, but on defense, he acts like everything is in hand even when it's not.
