Good one.

I wonder what a fifth round choice in the old January supplemental draft equated to by June standards.

Nice work.

It looks like Keith's father served in World War II. I hadn't guessed that.

It also looks like he was pretty good.

Álex Treviño had a brother named Bobby who was 12 years older than him and had a brief run with the 1968 Angels: https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/t/trevibo01.shtmlhttps://www.baseball-reference.com/players/t/trevibo01.shtml

In my head, he liked to play golf with Adrian Garrett and Garin Cecchini.

And no list of Mets siblings is complete without the greatest one-game career in history: https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/paciojo01.shtmlhttps://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/paciojo01.shtml

It was the last game of the season I think, over the Mets, and to his credit, I think he not only reached five times, but against four different pitchers.

Back surgery robbed him of most of the next two seasons. He played four more years in the minors after that before hanging them up.

There was a third Paciorek brother named Jim who played a season with the Brewers before putting together a decent career in Japan.

The military is how Keith's dad knew Stan Musial

He reportedly turned down an offer to sign with the Yanx in order to pursue his acting career, I guess preferring to make the world laugh instead of cry.

But he still loved baseball and later was a part owner of a major league team. (the Pirates?)

For decades, he shared the record for the most wins by two brothers.

Played his entire ML career in one city, and played for every major league team that called that city home*

*Not counting Negro league teams, nor cities which only had one team.
