Agreed. They added a pitcher for the DH but didn't use him in G1 and won't use him at this point so adding a 3d C, as they did for the last 2 DH's, was the move.

Well, every game we have the 'Designated Suck Reliever' and now we know who it is for this game.

So our track record with this silly extra inning rule is

- 3 runs allowed vs Atlanta

- 1 run allowed vs the Yanx (it could have been more except it was a walk-off)

- and now 4 runs allowed here



Meanwhile, NYM bats have produced a grand total of ONE run
