It really is. Unfortunately, the very next day the Mets barely showed up and I (prematurely but not really) officially joined the I Give Up thread.

JOG is a great cover and a reminder of the exact morning, the previous day from that cover's publication when I gave up on Cano as a fantasy owner. I told a friend how difficult it was to waive a Met and that friend emailed me the next day laughing... and told me that he told his wife and she laughed, too. (I added Keston Hiura, who is very good, and it worked out, not that you care.)
