They're either going to win it there, in which case they won't go back on defense, lose it there, in which case it doesn't matter, or tie it, in which case you want your bigger bats still in the game and your pinch-hitters available for extra innings.Gary says they can't pinch run for Canó because they are running out of players, but of course they can. They're already inserting a player off the bench by pinch-hitting Lagares. You can pinch-run Matz at first, and if you don't score, put Lagares in the outfield and Mac Niall at second.
