Zack Wheeler vs Aaron Nola. Rematch of the July 7 game (where Diaz spit the bit), which was a rematch of the June 27 game (where Jay Stupid Bruce homered twice). Both of those were won by the Phillies so FUCK IT, WE'RE DUE.



Bryce Harper has a .664 OPS vs Wheeler. Hoskins has a single, a double, and 8 Ks in 19 PAs. EFF THESE GUYS.



Meanwhile, McNeil has five hits in 16 AB vs Nola. Alonso homered off him. LET'S GO. GET THESE FUCKERS TONIGHT.

Except that Harper is having a hot August (which still just brings his season up to mediocre by his standards), that Mikael Franco is in the minors at the present time (and you could look it up),

and that Rhys Hoskins mostly isn't hitting [.138/.327/.276 in August ... that's a LOT of friggin' walks] AND he can't field no matter where they put him.

pitcher not last the next half inning (got just one out).



And that's got to be at least the third time in this hitting streak that Ramos has extended it only after entering late game.

With two on base (Rosario's AB) and then later with three on: a pop-out, line-out, and pop-out were sandwiched around Ramos's single.
