Stroman gets the out, nobody on base, and he's yanked.

Doesn't anybody listen to cooby?

made no sense to me, i think as a rule i'm never pulling the starter with nobody on base and a multi-run lead

This goofy bullpen here at White Flight Stadium forces Ricky Bones to cross in front of his warming-up pitchers to get the phone.

The dimming the lights and everyone doing their lighted chop thing

is just plain repulsive.

Whoever this guy is I hope he sticks around and we never see "first half Rosario" again!

Drew Gagnon is terrible.

Every few days, BVW brings up a pitcher from Syracuse because he's thrown a few good innings in AAA and then that pitcher stinks to high heaven. It's time for another new body.

I was on pause delay and just finished. No lead is safe these days.

Some crazy offensive numbers tonight to sift through.

I don't know who is going to replace Gagnon as Syracuse used 5 relievers tonight with Mazza getting the start:

My money's on Kyle Barraclough, recently DFA'd by the Giants before appearing in a single game.

Mets 1-0 in the Steve J. Rogers MAGA Era

The "one day" Rogers MAGA era? Jesus H. Christ, I pegged Rogers as a Trumper a few years ago. Not that there's anything necessarily wrong with that. Well. no. Actually there is, but he;'s entitled to his views. Some of my very best friends voted for that piece of shit. Really.

Also, with those five relievers each getting one inning, it doesn't necessarily stand to reason that any or all of them are too gassed to be promoted.

Nogosek has to get a second look sooner or later. He's been the stingiest guy in Stingetown this season.

You know you're a true Mets fan when you can keep track of and distinguish this whole mostly sad sack bunch of relievers. I can't believe how many relievers the Mets have gone through this season and last. I'm wondering if it's a Mets thing or a general baseball trend given how starters are, historically, throwing less innings than ever. I just don't feel like looking it up, though.
