The initial reports I heard, via radio overnight, had him shot in the leg but those reports were notably shy on details.

The latest story has the BoSox plane in the DR ready to whisk him to Boston for further treatment.

Between the Papi shooting and the resort illnesses (whatever they are) I'd say the Dominican tourist industry is taking a major hit.

So if this was part of some drug ring beef, their hit squads aren't very good at their jobs and, if the other stories about

the DR in the news are accurate, they'd increase their kill pct simply by sending their victims out on cruise ships.
