Here, of course, Dave steals his riff from himself. But man, what a great solo.

What a shame, really, that their ban from playing live in the US between 1965-1969 cost them the exposure and success that other British bands had during that same time frame. They made some great records in that 1967-1971 time frame that most American music fans don't really know much about or talk about any more.

1-2-3 in the top of the first. Let's have one more endless bottom of the first.

deGromowicz done after seven with a 4-1 lead. Lugissimo on for the eighth.

Good to see Nido making more contact, but his swing has gotten d'Arnaud-long and I don't think he'd be getting these kind of knocks against a better pitching staff.

Keith Hernandez riffing on when "Led Zeppelin used to put out great albums all the time all in a row." He's probably talking about every single one of their albums except their last two - Presence and In Through the Out Door, because who the fuck listens to those two what with the rest of the catalogue to listen to. That last album doesn't even sound like a Led Zeppelin album, but whaddya expect with Jimmy Page totally zombied out on who knows what drugs? This all started with Pete Alonso's walk-up music, which Keith identified as Led Zep music, but couldn't name the song. I think it was The Ocean song.

Are there really any physicists currently claiming that curve balls don't curve, or is this something announcers like to repeat so as to make themselves seem smarter?

Matz and deGrom both have Lynyrd Skynyrd songs as walk-ups. Aren't they buddies? And one Met has The Stories "Brother Louie". Cool, but I cant figure out which Met that is.

Luis Guillorme.

It's hard for me to believe it was his own choice, but maybe he discovered it in college. It would make more sense if he had an African-American girlfriend.

Keith couldn't name Alonso's walk-up song but he hummed a few bars - pretty accurately, I'd say.

I think there is some kind funding system to owners of music. Ya know,

like every time Hey Ho Let's Go blasts a Ramone grandkid gets a quarter.

I think offices should have "walk-in" music. So when you get to work and walk in through your employer's door, 10 or so 15 seconds of your "walk-in " music should blare from the company speakers.
