Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Do they have supermodels in Southern California?

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted December 19, 2018 Author Posted December 19, 2018 And if it does work out it'll cost them more than the $11 million base price.Michael Brantley, the 10-year vet of the Cleveland OF who's hit while he's been healthy and is coming off a bounce-back year in 2018 after missing huge chunks of '16 & '17, signs a two-year deal w/the Astros.
Mex17 Old-Timey Member Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 How hard do you think he pushed Boras to get him to LA?

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Anibal Sanchez from the Braves to the Nationals (so we'll still see him 15 times a season).Daniel Murphy to the Rockies.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Well, sounds as if Ted Williams won't be the last guy who hit .400 for much longer.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted December 20, 2018 Author Posted December 20, 2018 It's being reported as a two year deal w/Murph and the Rox ... although nothing official yet.I'd have thought Muffy to be a sure bet for the AL going forward, but at that length the guy who'll turn 34 y/o on opening week isn't a bad bet for Denver where I guess he now replaces three-time 2B Gold Glove winner (and 4-1/2 years younger) DJ LeMahieu, a guy who ain't a bad hitter in his own right. And why haven't we heard more about DJ LeM as a top FA this winter?
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Andrew Miller signing multiyear deal with the Cardinals.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 Isn't he in jail as part of the Mueller probe?
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Andrew Miller officially signs with the Cardinals. The move guarantees 2 and 25, with an option for a third year that vests with 110 appearances over the first two seasons (easy to reach "if" he stays healthy). The A's, Rangers, and Rays completed a three-player swap, the primary consequence of which is that Jurickson Profar will have to get used to wearing yellow and green.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 I've long crushed on Profar. Fun trade of youngins! As for Miller, I wanted him to be a Met, but his age, miles, diminished velo, I'm ok we missed (or passed) on him.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 If healthy, Murph's gonna tear it up in Colorado. He'll have 50 doubles easy.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 I agree. The health is a big if for Murphy, but he's hit fine when he's played and Coors Field is still Coors Field. He's a better bet for first base than second at this point, though.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted December 27, 2018 Author Posted December 27, 2018 Nelson Cruz, one year plus 2020 option with Twins.Has more HRs than any other ML'er since 2014
