bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 I will be in section 113, row K--$75 seats that I bought for $10 on StubHub (the rats are deserting the third place ship). It's also Beer Stein Night, but:Due to Hurricane Florence, the Oktoberfest Beer Steins were unable to be delivered on time. The first 20,000 fans attending the game will receive a voucher to pick up their steins beginning Wed. 9/26 at the team store.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Is bmfc the one that makes the Mets lose when he goes? Or is that transmonk?I forget who is the kiss of death.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 I thought it was Mr. Goldfinger.

Ceetar Grand Central Contributor Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 The Nationals have beat the Mets 9 out of 10 games I've attended in the MLB Ballpark App era. All those were at Citi Field (And I am not in attendance tonight)

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 I'm watching. I like when the Mets are winning, and I'll be sad in another 10 days when there are no more Mets games to watch.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 2/3 of the way down the first base line on that dribbler before downshifting once deGrom gloved it ... after barely leaving the box during his fly outs last night* and his two K's so far in this game, that's as far as Harper's run in two games now.* for which G, K, R rightfully roasted him
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Harper has often been a douche, I hope it costs him a bunch ofyears and $10's of million on his next contract.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 And I hope somebody seriously comes to regret giving him that $$.McNeil is currently 0-4. Is that allowed?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 And Mac lines out in the ninth. Mets winning despite an 0-5 from him. Amazin'.Hopefully, they'll bat around here and get him another swing.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Nice job Conforto. Hopefully Harper will remember that all offseason.

But this season, probably because of the FA contest to be held this winter, he seems to have reasoned that more HRs = more $$ and so he's put everything else on the side, as if nothing other than a HR does him any good (or any harm for that matter).
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Tough to call Soto a 'Five Tool Player' when you admit that his speed isn't that good (and if it's not good as a teenager ...) and that he's not a good fielder either.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Gsellman with the gas. One out to go.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 WoW!I'm looking at the boxscore here and there's a "(W)" next to deGrom's name, and I'm not entirely sure what that's supposed to mean.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Devon Mesaraco hadn't played since the third of September, the night my daddy died. Now he's returned to go 3-for-3 on the 21st night of September, when love was changing the minds of pretenders.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Yeah I thought Mesoraco was done for the year. The 2018 SHaMs : so unpredictable!
