Lefties all around: Matz vs rookie Eric Lauer -- 16 ML starts; 77.2 IP; 5-6; 4.87; 1.67 WHiP!, but better lately.Has never faced the Mets so I'm going to assume that he's never taken a no-hitter into the 6th inning either.

The oddity was that I was checking my facts when I had a weather-related internet interruption and I thought this post had died before ever being born.Meanwhile, on that Bautista catch, there was some chick in one of those seats behind the netting that missed the entire play even as it was happening 15 feet in front of her.Not quite sure what she was looking at instead.
