Since this thread was posted, I've noticed that 1968 took leads of 7-6 and 8-7, but 1970 later pulled ahead 9-8, but now we're once again tied, with 18 votes having been submitted.

Anyone more voters out there? According to Baseball Prospectus, the odds of an eventual need for a tie-breaker are steadily increasing!

There would be a thing called a "weighted tiebreaker". It's been a possibility since the first TCD in 2015 but has never had to be invoked. Maybe its time has come.

The downside of this, is that its sister poll is feeling unloved, with only 11 votes. Nobody loves the lopsided!
