Tonight is pretty brutal.Yeah, go figure.well, most of this thread happened before the brutality. Maybe we're past it and up to a 10-2 stretch now. That's where you're wrong. The Marlins' rally in the 9th was painful, but the brutality is scoring 4 runs total in 3 games against the Marlins.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 It reminded me of the Braves series the first week of May. I went to the first game, and no sooner had a sat down, then the Braves took a 3-0 lead. It's early, I said, and there is plenty of time to get those back. The Mets not only failed to score, three runs that game, they failed to register three for the entire series. Combined score that series, Braves 21, Mets 2.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Given how the season started, I really thought I'd be able to get to a Mets game this year before I became disillusioned. I probably should have gone in April.2017 was the first year since 2003 that I didn't attend at least one Mets game. Hopefully I'll be able to motivate myself to get there at least once this year. If I lived in New York I'd certainly go, but since Citi Field is about three hours away it takes a bit more effort.
