Un effing believable. I can't listen on Sirius either, because they only carry 2 games a day now. And through this whole foray I have discovered we are paying $1000 a year!

I'm peeking in from time to time on the MLB website:

https://www.mlb.com/gameday/phillies-vs-mets/2018/04/03/529479#game_state=live,game_tab=,game=529479

When I hit that link, I get:
This site can’t provide a secure connection

WTF does that mean.

I'm getting the game here:
http://www.sportshd.me/mlb/529479/h

So glad I paid for mlb.TV. [ /]

That's the one that I'm casting to my TV as well. This year, so far, I've had nothing but perfect success pulling down streams of each game.

I've been told Harvey's velocity was down and in this weather, I guess that was a good call.

Lemme put it this way: No one else is bitching about it so I'll shut up.

86 pitches. I figured he'd get the sixth inning, but Mickey probably wants Harvey leaving on a positive note.

86 pitches, positive notes: pffffft!

I'm thinking mid season nice and warm baseball though. I can't help it.

Wha? Matts done? Oy, what are they doing to my game!

Eh, it's like 35° and drizzly and it was time to pass the ball.
Why push the envelope and send him out there for another
inning and if he falls behind a batter or two they'd pull him
anyway? Good for Matt, hope he can spring board off this.

Yea, ^ scroll up.
I'm in a nice warm place and sometimes I forget they are not.

Come on Ramos!

NICE K!

We really should try to get one more out of Lugo, at least, considering he was skipped.

On the flip side of pitcher usage tonight, AJ Cole for the Nationals in Atlanta, after being spotted a 3-0 lead, coughed up 4 in the 1st, 4 more in the 2nd, and 1 each in the 3rd & 4th (Braves still batting in the 4th).
As I type he's given up 10 ER on 10 hits plus 3 BBs (4 K) ... and now has just been pulled from the game w/2 outs in the 4th.

Talk about your slow hooks!

Do you let Lugo pitch the last nine outs? They did double switch him in...

I'd go a 3rd inning with him (6 outs on 22 pitches).

Agreed. Lugo was dealing.

And of course Familia walks the first batter.

Christ, Familia with the walk right out of the box.

Also, apparently, the MLB.tv feed doesn't get you any of the "live looks" into other games. They kick it over to SNY and then you get 15 seconds of dead air. Quite weird.

Well, home plate ump went from an all game 55 gallon drum strike zone
to a kitchen flip top garbage can on that first batter.

Late and close and no Lageres in the outfield.

He's the only bat on the bench aside from Plawecki, I believe. But yeah, double switch his ass in there!

Meanwhile, Familia looks shaky AF

Not sure how that happened, was responding to this...

They were all close but all balls. Not how you start a save.
