A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 What am I supposed to do during the day now? Work? This some bullshit.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Brandon Nimmo, CF Yoenis Cespedes, LF Jay Bruce, RF Todd Frazier, 3B Asdrubal Cabrera, 2B Adrian Gonzalez, 1B Amed Rosario, SS Tomas Nido, C Zack Wheeler, RHP
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Evening time baseball, yall. Wheeler gave up 2 in the first, so like every game this spring, we are starting off behind. #consistency
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Wheeler getting pounded like a stripper at a Donald Trump cocktail party. Top 2nd, 4-0 Nats, more danger brewing...
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Just tuned in to watch Brandon Nimmo put the Mets on top 6-5 with a double.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 22, 2018 Posted March 22, 2018 Lugo is for real as a hitter.Brooze just hit a two-run homer and it's nine on the inning against Roark. Hellz yeah.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Rosario putting on a speed clinic now.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Another Kaboomie from Céspedes and the Mets now have 11 unanswered runs. Not since Darryl Strawberry has a Met done so much damage swinging with one hand.
Theoldmole Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 And now Todd Frazier. An enjoyable evening.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Lugo looking more like the #5 starter than Wheeler right now.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Touchdown and a field goal in the 4th, will have to check that out.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Satisfying win, Wheeler be damned.Unless the Washington pitchers were just throwing the Mets bunch of meatballs so they wouldn't know what to expect in the regular season.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Wheeler wasn't exactly smacked all over the park -- the hardest hit was probably Roark's double -- nor did he get a lot of help from his defense ... AGAIN!, but he was simply behind every hitter to where it took him some 50 pitches just to get through 2 innings. Very frustrating to see.

Hell... pedigree be damned, he's been generally better in the majors.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 My worry about Lugo is that just when the Mets need him, his elbow will snap.
Zach Thornton Syracuse Mets - AAA LHP On Sunday, the southpaw tossed five shutout innings as the bulk pitcher. He gave up 2 hits, walked 2 and had 5 strikeouts. Explore Zach Thornton News >
