The Nats are the traveling team, but they almost certainly have more of a headlining lineup than the Mets. We've got Tim Tebow cleaning up and Matt Reynolds in the wrong trousers. Enjoy!

  1. Trea Turner (R), ss
  2. Howie Kendrick (R), 2b
  3. Ryan Zimmerman (R), dh
  4. Matt Wieters (S), c
  5. Michael A. Taylor (R), cf
  6. Andrew Stevenson (L), lf
  7. Chris Dominguez (R), 1b
  8. Moises Sierra (R), rf
  9. Matt Reynolds (R), 3b

    Max Scherzer (R)
  1. Jose Reyes (S), 2b
  2. Jay Bruce (L), rf
  3. Adrian Gonzalez (L), 1b
  4. Tim Tebow (L), dh
  5. Amed Rosario (R), ss
  6. Juan Lagares (R), cf
  7. Jose Lobaton (S), c
  8. Matthew den Dekker (L), lf
  9. David Thompson (R), 3b

    Rafael Montero (R)

We are off to Laguardia. Will be there for the Gsellman gsame in West Palm!

Tebow hitting cleanup versus one Max Scherzer. Foul a ball off and I won't talk (too much) shit on you anymore, Timmy.

Have fun in FLA, Lunchbuckets. Please do an in-depth scouting on the intriguing, generically-named David Thompson.

Well, wait. Did it actually happen that way?

The Gameday feed during Spring Training is only accurate in the outcome. It will always display the minimum number of pitches for the outcome. So all strikeouts will display as if they happened on three pitches, all walks will be on four pitches, and all balls in play or HbPs will be on the very first pitch, unless they need to stick another pitch in there to attach a stolen base or a wild pitch or something.

That said, no baserunners for the Mets, counting non-football players and everything.

Ah, I didn't notice that. Hopefully he fouled a couple off then.

It would be nice if the flagship radio station of our team would bump Rush
for a few hours to a tape delay or something.

Through five frames, Los Mets have had two bezrunners — singles by Adrian Gonzales and Tim Tebow, both off of some beanpole (6'4", 180) name Erick Fedde.

If only Brandon Nimmo could get a turn at bat.

You know, they've seemingly fixed their AA situation, they've seemingly fixed their AAA situation ... maybe the next giant to slay is their bush league broadcast partner.

Cheech's second homer (take that, first round-draftee hating Mets) puts them within one.

Tying run at first, two out in the ninth, Franco waves the stick ...

They won't have to wait that long. There's another game today - 6 PM at the Astros.

Didn't realize there were two games. Second one is on now on MLB and
of course WOR radio because Rush said his piece for the day...
