Nice!

We'll be attending the Cubs game on June 3rd with a coterie from YoungerPooper's school. It should be... um... fun?

After tonight's fiasco, I really have to question the sanity of making this trip, but my son and I will be attending the Saturday, July 14th game against Nationals. Contemplating taking in the Sunday afternoon game as well, but we'll decide that as the date gets closer.

I'll be in Denver next week, so I bought a seat for the Thursday gay dame against the Rox.

My personal attendance Mets losing streak is up to nine going back to 2016. I'm not terribly confident that I'll break the streak, but I'm still hopeful.

Weirdly we will also be in Denver next weekend but on a tight schedule for a wedding and not likely to get to a game.

Anybody wondering when to visit the Baltimore/DC area? Well, how about July 23-25?! That's when the Binghamton Rumble Ponies are playing the Bowie Baysox!

See tomorrow today in the persons of Justin Dunn and Nabil Crismatt! Or see yesterday today in the living flesh of stalled prospects like Marcos Molina and Champ Stuart! Watch Mickey Jannis confound thousands with a dancing knuckleball and a single-digit number on his back! Find out if Tyler Moore is gonna make it after all!

And THRILL to the transcendent cultural phenomenon that is Tim Tebow! Unless he's been promoted to Las Vegas! Or New York!

The MDs will be there! Possibly the bmfcs too!

My son and I have tickets (Section 421) for the Saturday, July 14 @ 4:10 PM game against the Nationals. After we get settled into our room on Friday, we plan to take the train into Penn Station. We plan to grab some dinner then have a few beers while hopefully watching the Mets game on TV.

If anyone will be in the Manhattan area on Friday evening, we would relish the opportunity to get together over a beer while watching the game. If anyone will be attending that game, we would like to meet up before or at the game on Saturday.

The last 2 times I came up for a game, my friend and I ate at Virgil's on Friday evening. May wish to try something different this time. We are looking for any restaurant suggestions that any of you might offer. We would also welcome any suggestions as to where we could get a good draft beer and watch some of the Friday night game.

Tickets bought, for the Fman family, plus KC and MF, we will be in Excelsior Box 312 on Wednesday July 25th for a 12:10 matinee against the Padres. Swing by and say hello! It will be Fwife's first trip to the Citi.

So, by loose calculations they should be riding a fifteen-game winning streak!

Something French, maybe?

We are open to suggestions. We like food of various cuisines (Greek, German, Italian, Mexican, and Thai) and cultures. Not very familiar with French restaurants, simply because there aren't many near us (Raleigh) and they are often upscale. We are just looking for good food in a casual atmosphere as we plan to do some walking around before and after dinner. If you know of a casual French restaurant we would be willing to give it a shot. We are open to any suggestions you could provide us.

We plan on doing a Korean restaurant (near our hotel) on Saturday or Sunday.

Alas, I won't be in DC until August 14-18 for a conference. I'm going to finally check out Nationals Park while I'm there, but not when the Mets will be visiting.

Awesome! Looking forward to seeing you again. We plan to get to CitiField around 1:30 to have a few beers and take in the atmosphere. What is the best lot to park/tailgate in?

My son is pretty excited about this trip. He is looking forward to his first trip to CitiField. His only trip to Shea was for the infamous MOFO picnic in August 2001. He was at the CPF road trip to RFK a few years later.

Sounds good, I plan to arrive early as well. A good meeting
place is Mikkeller Brewing NYC. I'll PM my cell # so we can
find each other.

We're going on Sunday. For some reason. (That reason comprised mostly of the fact the occasion of my infant nephew's first bawwgame.)

Probs crashing Mikkeller for the WC final before game time.

i just got roped into attending this Friday's game. Three Mets games in a week is a lot, but three Mets games THIS week is some kind of torture

Yeah. I have a (MFY fan) friend in from out of town, and I'm trying to talk him OUT of going to the game tomorrow.

Oh, I just noticed it was Bastille Day and was just being... something.

Kang Ho Dong and Jong Gro (sp?) are good Korean BBQ joints in midtown... Her Name Is Han is an interesting Korean joint with some tasty, inventive takes on staples if you're up for NON-tableside-grill Korean. If you're willing t wander JUST a little more, Atoboy (on 29th, IIRC) does some kickass small-plates Korean stuff, all chef-ified and surprisingly affordable.

d'Kong, I got your PM. Hard to believe, but I had your cell number in my phone from years ago. I just wasn't sure it was still correct. Let me know if you received my PM reply (I seem to have problems sending messages and replies). If you didn't receive it, I can text my cell # to you.

As I told these guys, I will not be able to make this game on Wednesday. If
anyone can use my ticket (on me, since it's short notice) PM your email address
and I'll forward the print-at-home .pdf of the ticket.

First come, first served...

Tim Tebow hits the DL JUST as the Ponies are coming to town. There goes my trip to Bowie! No reason unless I wanna go see real prospects.

Bleh! What's the point?

Man, I wish I could join you for the drive down and up, but I don't think I could make it happen.

Times like these I regret not having a personal plane so I could fly in and go to a game with the F-family.

Even the Tuesday Night Mets Club isn't meeting tonight as I'm in Minnysota for work.

Next home Tuesday, 8/7 though: I have an extra if someone wants to see the Reds from the Soft Drink Seating Area, let me know!
