Of Gary, Keith and Ron, I like Gary the least. Keith is funny, Ron is cerebral, Gary gets hyper and excited over dumb things and his "it's outta here!" is annoying. And the one time he had the chance to come up with a line for the ages, Santana's no-hitter, he managed only a weak "It...has...happuned!", clearly choking in the clutch.

I do not think they'll be sub-.500 all season. It seems very improbable that there offense, outwardly as 'loaded' as it is, won't get going eventually. I'll say third place. I think I predicted 91 wins earlier this season. It's still possible. But a Mickey Callaway-ish 86 is more likely, and a low-80s total would surprise me even less.

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Without doing a deep dive, I think this is the first time in team history the Mets have had two pitchers with 10+ appearances and one or fewer earned runs allowed through the club's first 40 games.

Sean Reid-Foley is one of only 22 Mets relievers to start their season with no earned runs allowed through their first 10 appearances of a season. ^^still stands even though he just gave up a run.
