  2. seawolf17 wrote: That it is, Z, as Trax walks the bases full for Pujols. And you hate to see that happen. I dont think that animal should have any rights.
  3. Trax with a smooth 1st two innings, but we have bases loaded, 0 out here in the 3rd and that animal Pujols up.

  5. ="SteveJRogers"] BTW, Viz was a pickup after being released by the Giants earlier in the year, Eckstein to the DL ...and they threw him right out there too. They gotta miss Eck. A happy birthday goes out to Mr Julio Franco- 48 years young today. There are 104 players in major league baseball who were not yet born when Mr Franco played in his 1st MLB game.
  6. SteveJRogers wrote: Wright here, Wright NOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW! No other place I'd rather be... Good song. Singles by Reyes and LoDuca arent capitolized upon. They are stranded as Belran,Delgado, and Wright (FC) are set down by Spooky Mulder.
  7. ="SteveJRogers"] OE: Hey I'm Gil! Now represented by CMG! There really should be an official CPF Gil avatar. Stengel too. Mets draw 1st blood tonight- A Reyes single, Beltran walk and Delgado double plates the first run of the game. AND WOODY CLEARS THE BASES WITH A 3 RBI DOUBLE! 4-0 Mets and the first inning isnt even over.
  8. Yancy Street Gang wrote: ...... Especially since they're probably deep under an overhang. My '88 playoff seats were up and under in Mezz. Worst seats at Shea. WORST! I would have rather sat at the stadiums upper rim. In '73 I slept over outside Shea and got a brick of 3 Mezz Box seats for $21. Those were great seats, out in left. (I snuck out on the field that night too, with many others. We had a touch football game in centerfield by moonlight. Unfortunately, eventually a BIG squad of police showed up and everyone scrambled. There were afew arrests, but remakably few considering how many people were out there that night.)

  11. Izzy--if you save this one I WILL fine you!
  12. Okay Izzy---tonight Im asking you to fail for me (hes my fantasy closer).
  13. Willets Point wrote: Barry Zito. (sorry, couldn't resist) That wont make Cleon happy. He wants Zito to be the 798th.
  14. metirish wrote: ]Keith sticking his foot in it again. Yeah no shit..."animals have rights?,what direction is this country going in?" ...was he talking about that animal Pujols?
  15. 797th= Shawn Green

  17. TransMonk wrote: ....Almost makes up for Nady. I was thinkin the same thing---almost. cuz he can help at 1B between Delgado and Mr Franco as well as the outfield. I also have to say Im suprised about Diaz.
  18. OlerudOwned wrote: ="Zvon"]="cooby"]Hey I just realized there is an "Other Leagues" thread. Sorry folks, I will confine my bemoaning of Beltran there from now on Your certainly not bemoaning now, are ya? Ive never done a rotisserie league before this CPF one. I was looking over the rules this week and...... am I to understand there are no playoffs in rotisserie? Correct, which means I'll be watching myself and abogdan swap 1st and 2nd until the last day of the season and hoping I take the lead on the right day. Oh-your Heltons Meat. I lost track, lol. 17 teams and no playoffs-- YOW! - that sucks. My head to head league has top 6 team playoff spots. Ive been battling to stay in the top 6 in the CPF one, lmao. Well, Ill be happy if my team can close with over 100 points. (Playoffs woulda been a nice payoff tho.) And Ive been able to study the dredges of the major and minor leagues and know way more than I should or need to know about baseball players. That should come in handy in my H2H league(I hope! 2nd place, 5 games out there) Good Luck Todd Heltons Meat--and you too, abogdan. And Vick Sage could make a run--good luck to him too.
  19. I just heard. Zippideedodaday!

  21. You should combine some of the informative info here with Lundys KTE video as a header to the KTE thread. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a little statistical or descriptive info helps make a KTE shine alot brighter. This was also good work, all who contributed here.
  22. SteveJRogers wrote: Hmmm, Davey check, Gooden check, Mitch check, Straw check. List does not mention Mazz (Davey's card is a check list back and only lists the aforementioned 5 out of 5) so wheres Knight, Gary, Keith, Sid, Darling, HoJo and Roger? ....In a different pack?
  23. Love the old film stock look Lundy. Excellent piece of work. Every KTE should have a leading KTEI. ____________________________^ Know Thy Enemies Image
