So we really need to take the next 2, imo. Cant let these Phils even THINK they can climb back into this race. Cuz they cant. Aside from Hamels they just dont have the arms. If they are gonna be just a thorn in the Mets side, as they have other NY winning seasons, Ill have to hear this everytime I go out in my Met hat or jacket. So if they need motivation, please somebody impart this to them. Zvon does not wanna have to hear it.

Mota on for the 10th...Wags practically went unnoticed. Pitched a fine 9th aside from the Rowand double. Mota has a 1-2-3 10th, only Victorino getting good wood on him for the deep fly to center. The heart of the lineup for the Mets in the 10th.

Mets come up in the 9th leading with the scored tied 2-2 and will have to plate a run to technically win the ballgame, due to those silly rules of baseball.

I just closed my eyes and imagined Utley as the Mets 2nd baseman, with Delgado,Reyes,Wright, manning the infield, and my head exploded. Chase walks. Howard up.

Beltraan gets under it by a smidgeon. Sends Blahrrell to the wall in left. Gah. 2-2, after 7 complete. This, even with all the "gahs" , is a really good game. Good thing the Mets have the lead.

HA! Howd that happen? Reyes steals 2nd and--WHAT! that was NOT a foul ball! whoops--replay shows it was. That pitch hit everything possible, the bat, the catchers two hands, and the ump.
