Didnt know this was on ESPN til the last minute. Still stayed away cuz I was starting to think I was a jinx on the team. Ill have to actually check my record this season, but I dont remember any wins while sharing views here during a game. *sob*. And that last stretch--ugh. Lets hope this June swoon went bang zoom to the moon. (i dont know what that means but i typed it anyway ^)

Sad news. During his closing times, one of the best.

If the Mets go after Brad Lidge, who can't pitch (anymore, for who knows what reason) on the little stage he currently plays on, and expect him to come thru on the big stage, that is New York, I may be forced to start phollowin the Phils. If they do go for Lidge, they may as well go for a left fielder like Pat Burrell too, who plays left like a little leaguer.

Great diving grab on the Jeter grounder down the 3rd baseline by that youngster David Wright, who jumps up and throws him out by a pinstripe.

woohooo! We scored a run and Delgado drove it in!! This excites me on afew different levels. 6-1 Blohmmers
-
ewww. Schoeneweis cant field either :0

Delgados killin me. In my Metfan heart of hearts as well as on my fantasy baseball team. Hey--Val hits a double! Things are looking up--Green pops up. Inning over. Skanks up, 5-0 after 4 and one half.

I think that was the 1st homer Ive seen A-Rod hit as a Yankee where he didnt look over at his bench right after the swing for praise and/or approval.

Delgado cant get it done. That was really the perfect scenario, especially with how hot Delgado has been lately. Dagggggnabbitt.
-
CarlosBee walks. CarlosDee with ducks all over the place.
-
Val keeps it goin with a double! 2 runners in scoring position for Beltraan.
-
REYES! Look at a pitch or two! Come-ooooon. Pops out.
-
Gotay gets a base"knock" off Tigger pitcher Bazardo and Ledee scores to make it 8-6. We got game!
-

Im very concerned by Beltraans lack of aggression chasing down fly balls. I dont care if hes not 100%. If he's out there he has to move it. Is he hurtin worse than we know? Tiggers take the lead right back on a Pudgy 2 RBI single.
-
Then he gets picked like a fish outta water. He's been picked a bit lately. I almost dont mind: just happy, seeing how he slipped, that he wasnt injured. Score tied 3-3 (guess whose winning on my scorecard? Yes, even on the road the Met have the lead here)

Theres that warning track power referred to in a previous IGT. Wright just gets under one. After 3and1/2 its 3-1 Tiggers.
