Wowzers. Beltran drives in Wright with a single. 2-0 Alou follows with a single. The boys found their hittin sticks. Green walks. Bases all fulled up for Dookie.

Nice way to start. Reyes walks and is forced out on Castillo's grounder. Castillo comes all the way around on a deep double by Dave. 1-0 us.

OMG! They walk Pujols- Cards batter Ludwig hits one into the gap in right center, a booming shot,...and Rowand....I can't call it a great catch....I dont know what to call it,lol. I don't know if he lost it or thought he was called off or what, but he made the play into a stumbling slapstick grab. But he does make the catch and it stays 12-11 Phils. Look for that play on baseball highlights near you. Insane...if that ball would have dropped.... AND THEN ROWAND LEADS OFF THE 9TH WITH HIS SECOND BOOMER OF THE GAME! Carp on a carpsicle.

Yea, I suppose we needed an entire thread for this. Not simply worthy of being a footnote in the IGT. It was a great accomplishment last year. It is something positive. And thanks for your little personal spin on the event, Steve.

Pujols just wacked a bases loaded double and the Cards are creeping up on the Phils, 12-9 in the 7th.

He needs to be hitting line drives and ground balls so he can utilize his speed. His speed is of no use on pop ups and fly balls to the outfield. He used to take that low pitch and drill it.

Castillio grounds out to end it. Edge, I feel for you that you had to sit thru this game. You have to be glad you didnt go Val. And if thats the only upside I can take from this game, we are in trouble folks. Actually, we kaboomed a few, there's that. And we have to remain positive, cause we are the real Met fans. We have assembled here in their name,...its why we are here. Lets fire up that good vibe machine tomorrow night and get back out there and .... Gah. We are in trouble.

Mets get out of an inning in which they make 2 errors without allowing more runs. Mets have 4 errors in this game. Meanwhile, Arizona, who came into today with a 2 game lead over the Padres, are losing 1-0 to the Giants. Pad's lead the Pirates 1-0 in the 1st. What an interesting last few weeks we are going to have here in baseball. As I type this, the D'Backs tie the game, 1-1. That game is in the 2nd..
