The bullpen and infield defense just collapsed. A loss is a loss but the Mets beat themselves tonight. The Phillies were not the better team on the field. So the Mets are one game out, big whoop. Its a 3 game set. They'll get 'em tomorrow. Ill go with that. I needed that too, thnx. Those Endy plays--he was sent on those so he don't get the goat horns. Jose's blunder and Sanchez's outting gets the nod, one horn for each.
  2. This is one of those few times I'd be booing the team. I echo JCL sentiments multiple times. (btw, I laughed so hard when I saw that post beer flew out my nose. And I think that laugh is what I needed to keep me sane thru that pathetic let down. So, ty 4 that JCL)
  3. UGH! Feliciano drops a DP grounder! Another run in. 8-5 This is unphuckinbelievable.
  4. O M G We were cruisin! We had this in our pocket!
  5. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NOOOESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Oh my....Reyes that was a mistake. Had to get an out there.

Or was it that he was jut on the lil comics that came with the gum... These are the questions I have in the 9th as Smith goes to 3-1 on Ruiz.
  8. Sanchez got ripped off on that changeup to Werth, who follows with a single. That pitch was just below the letters right across the plate. And Dobbs smacks a pinch hit single. Werth slips rounding 2nd and will drop anchor there. And Victorino follows with a line single to load em up. Thats all for Sanchez.

  10. They said Wags was available for tonights game but its Sanchez up in the pen for the 9th.
  11. Its like deja vu all over again. lol.
  12. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Was Charlie Manuel run? I had the sound down but he had a beef with that attempted pickoff of Reyes. Yep. For arguing a check swing called no swing during Delgado's at bat, according to Phils broadcast.
  13. Damn, three two out singles and the Phils draw first blood.
  14. Reyes: 2 Wright: .5 Beltran: .5 Delgado: 2 Castro: 1.5 Cancel: .5 Pelfrey: .5 Sanchez: 2 Wagner: .5
  15. Valadius wrote: Back in first! lol, yep. So its a lil crowded in 1st place. Who cares. As long as we are one of em. (uh-oh-Ford/Edge/Jeter commercial[short version])
  16. STRIKES OUT THE SIDE! WOOTTOOTDOODLILYDOOTRUDYTOOT!
  17. I think his foot might have been blocked and pushed off the plate. (if he went foot like they said) I like that slide. Maybe daring but you had to tag there. had to. 7-5, us.
  18. Ill take it. Whew, that was close.
  19. Its really nice to be glad when Delgado comes to the plate these days. I really was worried I'd never feel that way again. Rip one Dads!
  20. Encarnacion gets the error but i think the deal there was Phillips did not have the energy to cover 2nd base.
