  7. Hey you minutia men. Don't tell me that (if he don't get sadly derailed) Howard is not gonna crack over 550 and drive in boo-koo runs. The only reason he's having a tough time this year is cause I put the whammy on the Phils. I'm Whammyman! I have the ability to jinx a team, but only once a decade. Go Mets!
  8. Z-Bot says excellent job,your hootchness.
  9. I turned that on TV here just in time for the 6 inning mid game wrap. The Phils booth said quite a few things about the game, but nary a word about the no-no. When they showed the score during this I could see the big goose eggs all across the board. Then the 7th, and the two homers. Oh yea, I jinxed him baby.

  11. Didn't see this in the theaters. Did on DVD like 2 months ago. With all I've read and seen about it I have to say it was all they said it was. Not like a top ten of all time flick though - I gave it 4 and a half stars. Even with its cliche-ness and how it could be said its just a CGI version of other tales, it was all they said it was. I expected the CGI to be distracting if only for some fleeting and more difficult scenes. After viewing, to the point where it goes CGI and foward, I can truthfully say after 2 minutes I forgot I was watching CGI and allowed myself to be stunned by its beauty. I'm the kind of guy that prefers escapism when it comes to movies and TV, and this surely allowed me a little get-away.

I discovered BD in 1972 and at one point owned every issues from 1974 to 1988. go to: books.google.com Enter: Baseball Digest (first choice that comes up) Click on: Browse All Issues You'll find: A listing of every decade from 1940 to 2000 Click on: Any decade you like; you'll find thumbnails for every available issue in that span Go: Nuts UGH! I just had an orgasm. (yea, I'm that far behind [and easily excited] here)
