  1. Jeeze. From 4-0 to 4-3 in a snap. W/o a homer. Torres =fail tonight. But he can't always be on.
  2. So Wheeler goes 6.2, 114 pitches. Good solid job and surely a step in the right direction but I, personally, am not salivating over it. Too many pitches.
  3. Mets make it happen! Murphy steals second and the Braves throw the ball into the outfield. Young scores!
  4. Sidney Greenstreet>Maltese Falcon> fall guy Wilmer> Flores nice play. Ha. Edgy MD wrote: I don't care. Young may lack experience and polish out there, but I'll take his effort and athleticism every time. You see how close to the ground he picked that off? That was amazin'.
  5. I get it. Keith is gushing because Zach is pitching the way he prefers Wheeler to pitch, using mostly fastballs. Even the older folk are cringing at that tie in Keith. OH WHAT A CATCH BY YOUNG!!!!!!!!
  6. Edgy MD wrote: More outfielding from the kid. I stepped off. Missed this. Hope it becomes a replay.
  7. Don't throw mah man Agees name around so loosely Keith. But Lagares, with another bunt single, does have the tools. OH! Almost d' first hit.
  8. Yea, this booth gushing is a lil surprizing. lil bit. Wheeler is pitching well, and smart, but he's not all that tonight. Oh, and obviously we want you back Dave.
  9. I think the fans know exactly whats going on. The silent treatment. I'm also saving it all for Travs first hit. I kid%=99.9%
  10. Heyward? Again!? What a catch.
  11. Mets score in the first. Young reaches on error, steals second, Byrd moves him to third on a ground out, and Ikes 2 out single drives him in.
  12. Booth says Wheelers throwing smoke, and it looks like he is. But no Ks and three fly outs (w/a single between) says he is pitching to contact.
  13. Wright says he will return before seasons end and will be interviewed tonight by Kevin in the 3rd inning. PLAYBALL!

I'd watch out for Sage. Charlie Smith is Vic's personal Susquehanna Hat Company. And see if you can fix this card, while you're at it. I loved that card when I got it, which was when I first saw it at a card show in the 80s. Cause its different. I didn't think they did stuff like that in the early 60s sets. I will try and get him in orange and blue at some point. He deserves it. He had 106 at bats in '64. He hit 20 HRs! He had 106 hits in 1964, in 450 at bats. He did hit 20 HRs, though. 106 at bats, lmao. I should digest the stuff I type before I hit send.

But with the cards I can see adding to it as time goes by so it's a kool way to get em out there. I'd be happy if the people that are interested in this kind of thing run into it. Other than that it's just a fun thing to do.
  19. Burnitz had to hit 20.
  20. Milners already up there...now it gets a little harder. lil bit. John Olerud.
  21. I think you're amazingly fast with the cards batmags.
  22. Saw the early innings and us and them should have scored more runs in this game. Some more head-up-ass fielding plays that don't hurt us. Gee really pitched a great game
  23. Jeff Kent. He did for the Mets, didn't he?
