  1. Wow. I love these electric crowds. Citi did have a few big crowds this season but did it ever get electric out there? Not like this (and the Bucs). That post season current.

In the NL it's definitely Pitt up top and the Cards on the bottom. I probably would have stuck Atlanta 2nd (ahead of LA) if I thought about it prior to them getting knocked out, but sometimes I just start watching a series and find myself rooting one way or the other before I even consciously realize it. Both of these teams would make for a good World Series so I'm just watching.
  3. I think there was a real possibility that he could have caught that. I would have called interference and we'd be watching a riot now.
  4. If we got Reggie then we never would have gotten Rusty and I don't want to live in a Met world without Rusty Staub.
  5. He would'a looked good in a Met uniform. But then again who wouldn't?
  6. Cya Atlanta! Have a nice long cold winter of discontent.
  7. They don't get to use Kimbrel because OMG, he's never pitched two innings. Ha! Back in 73 Tug woulda gone 3.

  9. They're stretching, I'm falling asleep.
  10. Fkn Frdy Frmn is 'amazin. And he looks like a nerd.
  11. Crawfords smacked two boomers over in the Dodger game. Tied 2-2. Is Rachel Nickles going with that look cause Halloween is coming up? She looks like a witch tonight.
  12. Wow. I'm not used to seeing teams that do things to win games.

  16. Damn. Bucs lose. Get em next time guys. I'm sick of the Cardinals and their awesome team in the post season.
  17. Pirates last licks. Come on Buccos, end it now!
  18. This looks like a more proper skin tone. If Salty didn't have rosy cheeks, he does now.
  19. That caught stealing was HUGE! Jeeze, the guy started sliding half way between 1st and 2nd.
  20. Mets Willets Point wrote: The Pirates need to bring back the pillbox hats. NO! Actually, the Pirates are the only team they looked kool on.
  21. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: How great would an Oakland-Pittsburgh WS be? I'd enjoy that. No score in Cards/Bucs game in the second.
  22. Edgy MD wrote: That's some tan on Salty. It's Boehneriffic! So too much orange?
  23. Finally, a good color pic of Salty Parker in a Met uniform! And a Met manager card for him! And its at Butterball Field! TRIPLE PLAY!
  24. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Zvon wrote: The Braves have overcome some adversity to get here and I respect em for that, but I could never root for them. In a Skankee/Braves WS I'd root for the Skanks. That's nice for you, Zeter. ha!
  25. Kong76 wrote: I don't have much 'hat' for any NL team in the last couple of years. If I ever root for the Yanks, put the jacket on me and please cart me away. To me, at times, the fact that they represent the city of New York will get them the nod from me. Like when they face the Braves. NY trumps.
