Damn Nats. Some damn Nat hit a granny off Torres in the 9th. 11-9 Mets Torres is able to close the game. Mets win. Laggy, 3 hits. Grandy & Cudd homer, deGrom looked good. Good day.

Wheeler didn't look as bad as the numbers say. He was squeezed, a bad call @first hurt him, and two guys stuck their elbows out for BS-HBP's. The 2 walks, that's concerning, but it's early as far as that goes. His mechs looked fine.

Just fired up the game in the 6th. Thanks for saving me a trip to CBSsportsline to see WTF happened here. Zack didn't sound too upset during his interview(saw half). I'll watch Zacks innings later today. And what Lefty said:hope he was working on something and not just stinkin' up the place.

All 3 hits he surrendered were in the 3rd. Floyds gonna fit in fine with this crew. He fills air well.

I saw the Mets /Braves game. Conforto had 3 solid hits (inc a double) and drove in 3. His at bats were very impressive. He has a sweet swing that reminds me of a young Tony Gwynn. I swear to God that Flores looked like he was running on broken ankles. Check out footage of his scoring from 2nd. I really don't understand how an athlete could be so bad at lifting his feet up and down.
