Ha! If my assumption is correct that's a bike riding cup he's wearing. In later years playing softball I used one of those because it was much more comfortable. Instead of bunching everything up front (standard cup) this type of cup protected you from down under. Shaped sort of like a canoe. I can't find the one I had thru google but that was 15 years ago. Looks like they have changed the design a little bit. Designed for biking, but great for baseball, IMO.

Conforto finding his groove again. We knew he would with that sweet swing. If they sent him down two days ago I would not have complained. I'd have been slightly devastated but I would not have complained. I spelt it right!

Oh joy, there is an entire thread for this! I really don't know what Wright is going through as far as pain but I hope it's not that bad and the last thing I want to see is him getting surgery at this point. He supposed to decide by the end of the week. If he has to throw in the towel now, even if for just this season, I will be devastated. Where's the "devastated here" thread?

Familia here, huh? Who am I to question a win such as this? Great game. Yea FK, you know baseball, we may be wanting a few of these hits spread out over this next week, but we will take what we can get. I'm happy because I really wanted to see them string some hits and get runs w/o the longball, and they did that right out of the chute tonight. You see Flores, batting cleanup and driving in 4 (esp if you saw the first 2 ribbys), and you have to smile. I know we supposedly have a number of aces in this rotation, but Thor is ridiculous. Long may he throw!
