  1. A 2 out walk and single by Loney & Walker run Wisler from the game. Wilmer PH: pops out. A run there would have been nice. I was positive Harvey was getting the 7th, & I was okay with that, but he's not. Gilmartin gets the 7th.
  2. Matt struggling a bit here in the 6th. Get through it, but surrenders one on a Pierz~ RBI double. 3-2 Mets after 6.
  3. A hit is always useful Mr. de Aza. 3-1 Mets, mid 6th.
  4. That Wisler has a nice tight little slider. It snaps.
  5. de Aza with a useful catch!
  6. Great game. With the Fishy RBI single off the bag, I thought we were done for. Reynolds 1st MLB kaBOOM? Niiiiice. I haven't seen it yet but I heard he also threw a nice peg to 2nd as well, but didn't get the guy. Again a very sound bullpen, and again happy I didn't have to see Bubblebutt. Cabrera has been amazin'. That's soooo crucial.
  7. I also wanted to mention that d'Arnauds cut down @ 2nd on the attempted SB was very nice to see. That was also a bullet.

  9. Reynolds in left? Well, I guess I asked for it (but I was thinking infield). Good luck out there Matt. Lets go Mets! Miami up 3-0, Big Bad Bour smacked a 2 run job.
  10. Was able to watch this on replay. Incredible Colons thumb wasn't broken. He took a bullet. The pen was masterful. Robles was HUGE. This was an encouraging win.
  11. So lil d' is back and Gee is going for the World Champs? And Colon gets hurt? WTF else could go wrong this season? I have to close this and see if the game streams better. I rebooted the modem and everything. We did have a super bad storm blow thru here a few hours ago. Maybe that's a factor. OR: Oh that's what Edge meant by in your face Reyes. Niiiiice.
  12. I missed a Cespedes homer! Double gah! Was it a 2 run job? Ugh, my internet has been horrible tonight. Slower than a crawl. It took minutes for MLBtv to load and now it's frozen. Triple gah!
  13. Plaw will go down. I don't want to see Conforto go down but as I've said before, I'm not against it. I think he should be able to work this out up here. I have yet to consider him a liability. I have a little more faith in Henderson but you can bounce Bastardo's bubblebutt outta here. deAza= DFA. The reason we got him is no longer valid. I wanna see Dilson up. Nimmo up would be nice and if we are going to suck, might as well let us fans take a look see at him.
  14. bmfc1 wrote: Sandy needs to DFA Bastardo. He can call up Logan GilEdgin or whomever he wants. I have also had enough of "BubbleButt" Bastardo. Damn, I remember years ago when he was a Phil, coveting him (a sin in the Metropolitan Bible) and thinking "I wish the guy was on the Mets". Maybe that's why now that we got him he sucks anal spillage. Plawecki's a walking farm man and he looks resigned to it. d'Arnaud might end up fitting the bill, maybe they installed some bionic parts, but if he goes down again we need (Rivera is good on D but we cannot carry his O) a real catcher. At least if we still had Recker the pain of watching him play wouldn't be as bad cause he's such a hunk. Come to think of it a hunk of shit might be our best option, if it's a big enough turd to stop wild pitches. Conforto needs a streak of consistency. Oy. K, I think I'm vented. No,...wait...U FUCKED UP MY FATHER'S DAY METS!!!!. K, whew, I'm done. Feel better.
  15. After this one I'm not worried anymore. If no moves are made and these guys don't step it up big time I'll be thinking ahead to 2017. After this game, allowing some stringbean to go 9 and almost no-no you at home to complete a sweep against THE WORST TEAM IN THE N.L., what's the point of worrying? I worry about the team when they are contending and hit some bumps, but this isn't contending. I don't know what the fuck this is but I don't like it one bit. Harvey w/9 loses, deGrom no win in his last 9 starts? Matz looking good then bad, good then bad. It's never what you expect, is it? And the hitting, or lack thereof. I dunno, we know these guys can hit but they aren't. How do you rattle that cage w/o upsetting the apple cart? That almost catch today by Grandy was a magnificent effort and if he held on to that I would have officially named it a top 20 all-time Mets catch. And it did look just like a ball of snow dropping off the cone. The only way I can look at this right now is if this is the low point this season in a few weeks we can erase this one from our memory files. Don't wanna look too far ahead but we are going to have to play the Nats & the Cubs like it's postseason baseball. The Mets lack of contention has created this urgency. They made a hill but I'm sure Bob Murphy would say that it isn't too steep to climb. I hope they do but I see no more sense in worrying about it.

You knew it, I knew it, Flores should not have even been considered for a wave in, because of his flatfeets. I was VERY surprised Tueff did that. I was thinking pinch runner as soon as Flores got to first. DeGrom, Thor, fucking anybody (except Colon). There are times you try and make things happen but I would much rather have seen what happened with men on 2nd & 3rd, no out. And useless de Aza, I knew theyd give him the base. Why would he suddenly get run shy? Makes no sense. I wanted Grandy up there. Him or Ces, and that really was a wonderful curve to freeze Curtis. Can't be letting teams like the 2016 Braves beat us up.
  17. I got some new ones on ice

The game (at this level) is moving too fast for him right now. Now make it so I'm full of shit this inning Plawman. There's something to this. You watch enough, and you get to know where all of your batters like it. Not so much Plawecki. He gets ahead 3-1, and I don't know what he's looking for or where he's looking for it. The second strike he took in the 9th. In that situation you cannot be just looking at that pitch. It was a perfect pitch to shoot out to right. That was the one to hit. He himself says he thinks his decision making has not been good. I'm going to have to agree. Regardless, if he can't catch up to that 3-1 pitch earlier, he's not up to speed. Unless he decided to swing late and miss it by half a foot. Could be just a string of bad days, but Plaw hasn't looked fresh for a month now. He's getting days off so he shouldn't look so tuckered out. We hear it said all the time. Plawecki needs to slow the game down.
  19. ahhhhhhhhhhhahahaha. That's a new way to lose. Yea, Loney kinda overdid it there. W/o the elbow to the balls we might have had an argument. It's mid June and Matt Harvey has lost 9 games. Scripts change all the time but this is a very bad overwrite. I wasn't expecting greatness but I was expecting a good pitcher. Watching from behind the mound it looked like Dillon Gee was pitching. No offense Mr. Gee, although I don't see any other way you can take it. Lost, sad, a little worried, bummed about Wright. Any timetable at all on him yet?

  22. Maybe Conforto should take off tomorrow and go fishing.
  23. We can't be pissed at Cabrera though. He has come through much more than not. This comeback is not over yet. Or maybe it hasn't yet begun. Two on, two out. I can't show it to you but SLAP ON YOUR RALLY CAP!
  24. I can't predict a Fkn Frdy Frmn RBI and not also predict a Mets comeback. So I officially say I feel a comeback coming on. Oh my. * fans self.
  25. Gant was pulled after 6 plus and the Mets are trying to get to the pen. Bases loaded, 2 outs. 7th. 4-1. I saw the first with Grandy starting things off nice, again. Saw a bit later & I told my brothers that Freddy Freeman would get that run in from 2nd, and of course he gaps one. Other than that I...didn't miss much did I. 2 hits off Gant? Disgraceful. Any good catches? Wilmer to PH. Ks on a pitch out of the zone. lil' bit high.
