It's like 5 pounds of hero. Most of the time I can't deal with the lines at SS so don't. Can't tell you how many times I meant to have a burger and settled instead for the tacos or Blue Smoke. If I were a betting man, I'd put $$ on the chicken sammy being a hit and those deserts-on-a-stick a bust. Bacon is so cliched now I can't believe it even exists as a food. The Bacon is pretty good, and it's been there for two years already and it's just a kiosk. Plus Citi Field is hosting the bacon and beer classic again. The dessert twist might end up not being great, but the candied stuff is good. People went gaga for the blue smoke chicken sandwich and i'm sure this will be no different. I pass two shake shacks on my way to work, so having it at Citi Field is no longer a draw. But yes, this is going to be a concern more so this year with more people, and more amateurs, at games. Even with all the stands I find myself just wanting something that I can get in under 5 minutes and with busy crowds it's hard to do that in the high traffic areas. Nice thing about the playoffs is so many people were serious about the game so you could pop out fast and hit like Blue Smoke with almost no line.
