And, no, I would hope he immediately wouldn't go to pitching every day. Thanks, but I asked if anybody seriously believed that the Mets planned to do that. There are only 4 weeks left. And again, what is the appropriate schedule and how are the Mets somehow violating it? How long did Aaron Heilman have or Grant Roberts or Rick Aguilera? Why do we have to go back and forth over ten posts for me to suss out what exactly is the objection? Does it really friggin matter that much? Geezuz

Later that evening I got dumped by my girlfriend and had to find a place to stay the next night. Kinda looking forward to the film. Maybe that concert is depicted in the film and maybe there's Movie Me and Movie My Girlfriend depicted sitting at a table near stage left with Movie Me being all distracted about why is she acting like such a bitch and kind of hating on the band because this isn't how I expected the evening to go. I only remember them doing "Cherry Bomb" - first time I heard the song. That wouldn't be the first time I've been to a depicted concert as I was at the final Sex Pistols show in San Francisco which is depicted in "Sid and Nancy" but there was no Movie Me, all band shots. There would be a similarity to Prey for Rock & Roll...Difference being Runaways is a 'true" story and they did get a major label deal...Kristin Stewart seems to have a personality similar to early Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning has wanted to do an "adult' role for some time. I doubt this will be a 'whip it".
  6. Speaking of the Marlins, the Mets june series at Miami has been moved to Hiram Bithorn Stadium in Puerto Rico. So we get to see Alex Cora starting at SS for some bit of time. I'd prefer it be Tejada but so be it.
  7. The Rangers have acquired pitcher Phil Coke to man the base
  8. For those old enough Joan Jett, Cherrie, Lita and creepoid "manager" Kim Fowley formed the all girl Rock & Roll band The Runaways.. Influential in much the same way as the New York Dolls. For the guys the movies promise women kissing, for the women the movie promises women kissing Here is an interview taken a week or two ago from the now 70 year old Fowley..
  9. My buddy Carlos Gomez & Fernando Martinez
  10. I am reading correctly.. He's projecting Johan Santana to go 11-9 in 2010
  11. Surprisingly the corpse of Brandon Knight was one of the few 2009 Buffalo Herd pitchers not to log an appearance with the Mets Oh untimely death
  12. Christian Guzman would be nice on opening day but I don't think Guzman will take kindly to sitting when Reyes returns.
  13. Manny Ramirez, Matt Kemp, Andre Either & Clayton Kershaw ain't bad Having said that The whole concept of the best four is irrelevant but on the other hand we did read it
  14. The 1967-68 Mankato Mets produced one outing by Jesse Hudson & Willie Mays in the form of me Charlie Williams. One coach Tom Robson & thats it
  15. Personally, I think the idiot pulled the "story" from the Phillies Nation Board and ran with it Send him to the jerkstore
