He "can catch" like Jacobs can catch, or Tatis can catch, or Pat Misch can catch. Garko was a college catcher, but the Indians took the padded glove away, in much the same way you might take a knife away from a toddler-- so as to keep him from hurting himself and/or others. He does, however, have options left; if they want to pick him up, he's stashable. I have no idea about the nervous disorder business. You are correct. Joey Votto was institutionalized for depression and anxiety at the start of the 2008 season. For some reason I always confuse these teo.

  6. Frank Catalonotto has a chubbie
  7. I suspect martinez will be back soon. I don't inderstand Blanco over Santos.
  8. I always liked Ken Henderson's 1967 Topps Baseball Card. There will be several new candidates for the list on opening day. Jeez, this could almost become a dead pool

    Boo! 2010

Fat soft, overpaid Mental Case I'm in stitches! I picture the fans at Citifield as the frat members in "Animal House" when Flounder's picture is projected for a vote and is pelted with trash and beverages. And this team has many Flounders. Castillo and Perez get serenaded. The remainder do after a 2 game losing streak.
  12. I could see the 6'8 Russian Gold Miner/Whoremaster who is buying the Nets walking the court with an AK-47 in a couple of years as owner/coach.
  13. Sir, the change up is coming, and when they ask speak of me kindly.
  14. I'll take Johnny Mize, Bill Terry and one year MFY Jack Clark. Mize & Terry bump Tblow & Mattingly. Somewhere Joe Pepitone is upset by all this.
  15. Costa Tweets than Kelvim Escobar will stay behind in FL looking for a May return and the Post has Jose Reyes taking 39 pitches in BP and not being ruled out for opening day.
  16. Pedro has earned it
  17. I was at two of these, but the imperfect game is my personal number one. I can remember where everyone in the house was. As a kid it seemed like life and death. The 1986 World Series year was great. You always had hope, and assumed they would come back when behind, and mostly they did. Thanks for the list.
  18. Chris Coste will be backing up Ivan Rodriguez who is covering for Jesus Flores. What a mess
  19. He could shave his head and simonize. It is a timeless great look.
  20. No play for Mr. Gray
  21. Is he wearing a cup or is that paper towel?
  22. He looks like he has a bar tan
