We now get more of the players that Standpat Sandy cultivates. Yeah, shit happens but it didn't happen to Brian Bixler, it happened to someone that I liked. Gold Glove fielder...at what level...His loss will not make or break the team...

What do you do with an icon at the ass end of his career with an injury that could end such career? Got me..

I wouldn't be surprised if Jeter missed a couple of months and finishes his career as a DH as a Yankee.

$17 an hour is not bad for a job that requires zero education.

This SL pitcher Cleto is HUGE.. Send D'Arnaud north. He has nothing left to prove at AAA...

Turner looked good running to third. LaTroy Hawkins looked good. Lets get Arthur Rhodes too! I'm beginning to think Murphy was kidnapped on St. Paddys day.

I have a fondness for those old fashioned 60's style like they gave out on helmet day..Still have one faded as it is..with a Swoboda bat..The Mets only did a couple of bat days as I recall..

This team has more holes than.....many things including my piehole... Lutz, Valdespin and Turner are all in the mix to start opening day..

Opportunity for Hefner to sew up a rotation spot..We are down 2 sp's..They talk on Marcum is an impingement in the shoulder...I have that myself now and cortisone did nothing as the tendon is torn. Swamie says Ashie and Marcum will be having surgery..
  24. ashie62
I guess this is the official on Marcum.. We start with Niese Harvey Gee and need to find two... Hefner would be one most likely.. McHugh over Laffey I hope.. or start the clock on Wheeler now... http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/blog/eye-on-baseball/21918704/mets-shaun-marcum-out-after-receiving-cortisone-shot-in-shoulder
