  7. Porcello is close to Seton Hall prep. Might help. Then again he has a multiyear ineffective card. Cohen, arm wrestle Jeff for Betts. Jeff Wilpon, the pride of Flushing High School. Further education and an MBA may have served him well
  8. Who is spending the Mets money? Wilpons, Cohen, Brodie. Omar Have to believe Cohen will fire them all short term. 5 year Wilpon contract my azzzz
  9. New York Mets: C After losing Zack Wheeler to the Phillies prior to the start of the Winter Meetings, the Mets were going to need to pick up pitching. Brodie Van Wagenen found two options for the void in the Mets' fifth rotation spot, signing both Rick Porcello and Michael Wacha. Porcello, 30, is coming off a dreadful season with the Red Sox, but was a top-50 free agent. Wacha, 28, is also coming off a rough 2019 campaign with the Cardinals. But when he's at his best, Wacha possesses league average fastball velocity and a knockout changeup. Per CBS Mets winter meeting ratings
  10. Tracksuit tweeting the Mets have contacted the Astros about SS Carlos Correa Some thought Mets would keep Rosario at SS and Correa would play another position Correa has not turned into the mega star many thought he would, but he's dang good and I'd love to have him. I am speculating Andres Gimenez might be the chip to ship out here

  21. Other, Alfonzo or David Wright
  22. Benjamin Grimm wrote: The ghost of Gary Carter also expressed an interest, but that was back in June. Badass
  23. In the 1999 Playoffs against Arizona Cookie Rojas was coaching 3rd base and was in the umps face with total fire a good five minutes. I would be happy with a Rojas hire Brodie can be relived of his duties also
  24. Hader is tough to root for. Fun game won by the better team
