  1. Hey, no worries... I left the Seaver Post up for perhaps 2 days because maybe one person hailed it...
  2. Washington beat Cincy 5-3. The Brewers have taken the lead vs. the Fish, 6-4.
  3. Game is starting soon...
  4. HAIL!!!!
  5. He's still missing. Likely took the opportunity to snort as much coke as he can until he gets caught.
  6. Alomar would have gotten a spot had he not retired during spring training.
  7. HAIL!!!!!!!
  8. I-Rod gripes about his contract all the time. After winning the World Series in '03 , he played the Marlins out in getting his contract with Detroit, and now wants to rework his deal for more money.
  9. Unfortunately, Dennis Cook is out of the majors, and thus is ineligible.
  10. With Jeff Kent and Milton Bradley going head-to-head in Los Angeles, I thought I should take the time now, having thought of doing this for a while, to assemble an all-star team of whiners, hotheads, and malcontents. I'd appreciate any and all help. 11. Major League Baseball owns the first row behind home plate. Pepsi owns some of the second row. That's all I can remember at this point.
  12. You know how you can kind of sense how good a player will be just by their name?Mike Jacobs is one of those good ones.
  13. Frank McCourt should have obviously called up Wilpon and arranged for something at Shea. Wilpon would have jumped at the chance to sell out the place.
  14. Dr. Joseph and his son, Dr. Jeffrey Dellarusso must not have done a good job on Omar if he thinks he saw Seo pitch poorly in Virginia.

  16. This is, without a doubt, the funniest movie I have seen this year. Go see it if you haven't already.
  17. Sigh... Doc and Straw... such talent wasted...And even after all of the trouble they've gotten themselves into, they'd still probably quote Rick James and say:"Cocaine's a hell of a drug. Hyuh, hyuh, hyuh."Simply depressing and sickening.
  18. I FINALLY saw this for the first time last night. Easily the funniest movie I've seen all year. Vince Vaughn was amazing, and you knew that you know who HAD to be Chaz even the first time he was mentioned. This may be a "for all ages minus kids" comedy- my 80-year-old grandmother saw it and loved it. Go figure.

  20. Beltran vs. Brandon Webb, Career Stats:.400, 1 HR, 2 SB (10 AB)
  21. Jacobs at 1B? No kidding? Wow, and usually Willie takes a while to warm up to new guys no matter what they do.
  22. There's two schools of thought on this, and I happen to belong to both:1. Heath Bell needed a third pitch, and was better served honing it in the minors.2. Heath Bell is better than Danny Graves and should have stayed with the big club.Look, we were never expected to contend this season. We're building a solid base for the future. And having Heath Bell become a better pitcher is only going to make us better in the long-term. Danny Graves should never have stayed here, but maybe, just maybe, this was a blessing in disguise.
  23. D-Backs manager is Bob Melvin. As you may remember, Wally Backman was named manager last winter, then was fired within the week when his legal problems surfaced.
  24. Russ Ortiz got HAMMERED in his last start... I believe that was the game when Cincy scored 17 runs.
  25. Happy B-Day!!!Fish still leading Trolley-Dodgers 3-2, bottom 7.
