Besides his performance in the Kris Benson/Mike Jacobs game, Guzman has been HORRIBLE. -
I wasn't happy he won ROY last year, with that pitiful .239 batting average and .319 OBP.

1. After all the talk about Bonds coming back, coming back, coming back, he still hasn't come back.2. The reigning NL MVP not appearing in a game is a huge bust, in my opinion.

A sleeper is someone who wasn't expected to play as well as they ended up playing. A bust is someone who was expected to play well and ended up playing poorly.

Francoeur is on there, platooning in RF with Jonny Gomes.Tony Clark is a nice choice. I forgot about him for a moment, but ultimately he probably would have missed the list because he's not exactly an everyday player.

Well, he originally was a second baseman, IIRC. We had to plug him in at third because of Robbie Alomar & the lack of an established third bagger.

Mientkiewicz: pronounced mant-KAY-vitch. Meaning: Gold Glove first baseman who has a primal fear of the minor leagues and gets the "flu" in the middle of August.

I will be very pissed off if the Mets don't retire his number after he retires, or at least after he's inducted into the Hall of Fame. He's one of the premier players in the franchise's history. If the Mets make the playoffs and he's around in October, it would be a great capper to his Mets career. And he's going in the Hall as a Met.
