  1. ="AG/DC"]i listened to a few more minutes. Mike starts off instisting again and again that Yankee Stadium was built in 1926. When Dog decries the history lost, Mike says "Babe Ruth didn't play there! Mickey Mantle didn't play there! The place was rebuilt!" Ignorant and loud vs. ignorant and loud is great radio? I'm old, I guess. Me too then. These two guys are asses. Not Agie and me, but Fatso and Froot Loops.
  2. Funny that I picked Owen, too. He has the same birthday as my daughter (22 years apart, that is).
  3. St. Lucie 4, Daytona 1 Owen (W, 12-6) 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 10 K Nice line. Owen is 6-0 in his last 7 starts.
  4. Perez 3 Smith .5 Sanchez .5 Heilman .5 Easley 1 Schneider 1 Delgado 1 Beltran .5 Reyes .5 AReyes .5 Wright .5 Murphy .5
  5. I can't stay up late enough to watch those West coast games, most nights, but I'm glad to see the Phightin' Phils phall on their phaces out there this week. Good stuff.
  6. I don't know what other free agent to be pitcher (not counting the big ticket guys that the Mets aren't expected to go after like Sabathia) has the upside of what O.P. can do when he's on a roll like he has been.

I almost fell off the treadmill following this one! Awesome. I went to bed with the Phils up 6-1 and was surprised and pleased to hear on the drive in this morning that the Dodgas had come back to win. Mets win. Phillies lose. Marlins lose. Rinse. Repeat.

  10. Frayed Knot wrote: Personally, as long as Maine is healthy, I'd opt for more Maine and patch the pen holes with Kunz/Stokes, etc rather than the other way around. I agree 100%. I absolutely think that the rotation should remain intact as long as Maine, Ollie, Johan, Petey and Pelf are all healthy enough to go.
  11. Feliciano staying in, apparently, to pitch to the righty Nieves.
  12. Well you can wish in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up first. Feliciano to start against the lefty Harris, whom I detest.
  13. OK. Now it's go time. I have geshpilkis here.
  14. Feliciano also warming in the pen.
  15. I'd give my middle nut for an insurance run. Eddie "Kicked in the" Kunz warming in the pen.
  16. Another big K. Two outs and fat stupid Ronnie Belliard at the dish.
  17. metirish wrote: Why PH for Castro when you then need to PH with Schneider? They wanted a lefty bat there against the RH reliever Rivera. I don't mind the pinch hitting for Castro there but I'd have like to seen Santana with the bat and two out. Has Schneider hit any better than Johan this year?
  18. And so it begins again. Holy hell.
  19. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Molly Beers for everyone! Woo hoo! Let's pound some Beers.
  20. Matt Yallof taught me how to make love to a woman and how to scold a child. Oh wait, that was Bill Brasky. Never mind.

The odds of a Met having my last name are wildly improbable, until Fboy is playing for them in 20 years or so anyway.
