  1. They look like dumb tourists. I hope they get rolled by local street toughs.
  2. I went to bed in the middle of the 8th and missed the winning run. Too sleepy.
  3. According to Gary Cohen pronounced as "Jay Happ." Which is just plain stupid. I hope we win by 50 fucking runs.
  4. It was a Saturday matinee, box score here.
  5. I went to the old park for a MFY/Red Sox tilt, sometime in the early 2000's. The fans were all animals, from both teams. I won't go back.
  6. Dickey 3 Byrdak .25 Parnell .25 Torres 1 Niewenhuis 2 Wright .25 Davis .25

    Who's #1?

    Well, duh.
  8. He looks like Dirk Diggler. Swings the bat like he's got the big hog to back it up.
  9. Say what you will about the 2012 Mets, they know how to draw a free pass. Redemption, thy name is Nieweinheiussenem.
  10. Now Duda swinging wood on deck.
  11. Nice little rally going here. Torres with his first Metly hit, Thole up as the potential go ahead run. Valdespin on deck as your pinch hitter sez Gary, Acosta warming in the pen.
  12. It should be known that Gary jinxed the no hitter by mentioning that the 'Stros were still looking for their first hit. Said it immediately preceding the hit itself.
  13. Yeah, do it for Kim Jong Il!
  14. I'm in favor of some smashy.
  15. Dang. Torres robbed there.
  16. Nice write up. I appreciate your enthusiasm for the Mets' clear superiority over these has-beens and never-wases.
  17. Fucking savages, all of them. See what the designated hitter does to people?
  18. I'm looking forward to watching the Mets knock around quasi-retarded Bud Norris tomorrow. Seriously, he looks like a penny eater to me.
  19. Tejada 1 Hairston 3 Duda 1 Nickeas .5 Batista .25 Byrdak .25
  20. Duda 2.5 Wright 1.5 Gee 3.5 Byrdak 1 Francisco .25 Tejada .5 Murphy .5 Baxter .25
  21. Not on at my house. Just as well, I was napping, bringing in furniture that I had brought up from my parents' house, playing outside with the kids and grocery shopping.
  22. Santana 3 Batista .5 Parnell 1 Ramirez .5 Wright 1.5 Hairston 1 Davis 1.5 Thole .5 Nieuwenhuis .5
  23. I do love Johan. Despite all those awkward moments we shared on the 11th hole fairway. Having said that, check out this box score from Moyer's first appearance against the Mets, 26 years ago this summer. It's stunning to think that this is the same guy, still [crossout]crazy[/crossout] pitching after all these years.
  24. I watched this game the only way I am able to soak in a weekend WPIX tilt, by driving 200 miles downstate to my parents' house, and then soaking up a lot of cream soda that may have also contained vodka while watching a satisfying Mets victory. Sadly, my folks are moving to God's waiting room, AKA Florida, in June and this trick will not likely work for me again, ever. Having said that, inspiring Mets win.
