  1. [bIGPURPLE]LFGM FOREVER[/bIGPURPLE]
  2. This fuggin' guy with the fuggin' pitching changes
  3. We'll be in 513 some'eres at Closing Day, wishing Ol' 53-cm-diameter well in person.
  4. AND Bellinger's sprinting in the ninth on a dribbler when they're up 9-2, because he's got a shot at a hit.
  5. I don't know if these bullpen dudes are afraid of not being able to escape in time ICOE, or whether they just don't want to climb too many flights en route to work, but outside of Familia, nobody wants off the ESB ground floor.
  6. Do you maneuver to keep Alonso in the game at this point?
  7. Rosario looks like he's playing defense up there.
  8. So... burn Lowrie, then?
  9. Roberts looked like he was about to leave Kershaw in until Lowrie was announced. If I were Callaway, I might have left walky-walky Nimmo in to PH.
  10. People make a lot of the Dodgers' talent, and they do have a lot of it. But they've just plain outplayed us tonight-- hitting against the shift, running hard, working deep into counts-- too.
  11. Why pull Familia after 25 pitches, plentiful weak contact, and the only baserunner coming on a cueshot to beat the shift?
  12. Poke it leftward against a shift? WHO WOULDA THUNK
  13. Two pitches to hit-- 3-1 high-'80s fastball middle-out; 2-1 mid-'80s slider left on the plate-- squandered by Frazier and Conforto.
  14. Hunter W. must have machine-dried his strike zone on high between innings.
  15. Well, yes, but handing the bullpen a three-run deficit to preserve over four innings is probably a little less win-conducive than handing them a one-run lead. Not a terrible idea by McNeil there... just not crazy-well-executed.
  16. Cano was right there, and couldn't knock it down. Farts. Not to mention that we're pushing 80 damn pitches in the fourth.
  17. Bellinger or no Bellinger, walking dudes in front of the middle of this lineup is a fast way to an early dugout rest.
  18. Hey, New York Boy naysayers-- our man Stroman is through 4 scoreless. On 54 pitches, bitches!
  19. Thing is, even DIAZ thinks he sucks right now. It's evident when he's on the mound, struggling to locate. It's evident when he gives up a home run, in the unsurprised way he greets the moment. It's evident in the post game interviews, where he just looks beaten. It's evident all over the damn building, fam.
  20. Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: The Dbaggs are Fake News. Traded the ace in July and hung around till September. They had this beating coming. Then, hey, why wasn't anybody talking about how the Dbaggs got back into the race by fattening up on the minnows and also-rans? You know why? AIN'T NOBODY TALKING BOUT NO DBAGGS, THASS WHY
  21. Well, that'll do, Johnny.
  22. I mean, they kinda have to, right? Score those runs early, boys.
  23. All of a sudden, it's POURING at Citi... which makes the shaky outfieldin' a little more understandable.
  24. I'm about 95% sure the Diamondbacks generated Alex Young on their copy of MLB: The Show 2019 like, two weeks back. https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/LCoe-4vgT9S6btCjxG8Si3Sh1SA=/0x0:180x270/1200x800/filters:focal(76x121:104x149)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/62298297/622065.0.jpg >
