  1. Chasing sliders like Wimpy, Peter is
  2. The sounds of the empty ballpark are the most fun part. Lefty Specialist wrote: Peterson seems to know what he's doing out there. His stuff isn't overpowering, but it'll work. "This water sure won't choke ya!" I'd feel a lot better about him if our defensive approach weren't so don't-hit-to-me. (Same with Porcello. And Matz.)
  3. This year's edition of the Sox make for really welcoming hosts. Terrible baserunning. Thanks for the outs, fellas!
  4. Okay, the slider looked pretty good against JD Martinez on 3-2.
  5. He's working pretty well with what he's got... but the stuff all seems pretty "meh." Like, passable, but not impressive.
  6. Didn't know Peterson threw a curveball.
  7. I have, but that's mostly because of fantasy baseball, and my tendency to stream starting pitchers therein. Bloopy inning nets Mets three. They'll... um... need more, I'm guessing.
  8. =kcmets post_id=41990 time=1595971464 user_id=53] =LWFS post_id=41039 time=1595303360 user_id=84]We HAVE to do another. I mean, as soon as Kase develops another agenda. (Next week some time? Maybe, like, 8ish?)
  9. How is Peterson making his way rosterward? Erasmo?
  10. YES! Until now. RP #29 Ryan Madson BONG! (THANKS, fantasy baseball!)
  11. Funny. Those living in states/localities where directives have been vague or nonexistent may be acting less responsibly than those living in, say, NY or NJ. Go FUCKING figure.
  12. You know those courtroom dramas where the whole thing is kicked into gear by, like, an awful gang sex assault or racist beatdown out back at some honky tonk, or off the side of some country road midway between the nearest farms... but there's one guy in the group who's a little less than fully into it, especially when things turn REAL ducked up? That guy who the idealistic prosecutor/defense attorney/victim's kid/victim's parent pressures into testifying against his buds? Give him a middling fastball and slider and good fielding reflexes, and you've got Mr. Shreve.
  13. Wacha done after, what, 75 pitches? Now, like a bored priest, we are all about Chasen Shreve and prayin'.
  14. New York Mets: Shift Killaz
  15. DomdomdomDOMMMMM
  16. The changeup looks PRETTY tasty.
  17. A Boy Named Seo wrote: -Jed Lowrie. There's sadly nothing positive I can say about Jed Lowrie. Full season of rest! Yeah, I was thinking we'd get, like, a week in before all this.
  18. #12 RP Ken Giles
  19. Edgy MD wrote: Yeah, going to Diaz on consecutive days has to be scratched from the list of good ideas. I'll say this, having now seen the AB (after initially listening on the radio), Diaz didn't, like, miss. He wasn't all over the place in that inning, or that confrontation. He made a decent pitch, and Ozuna sold out to tag it, and he did. It will happen. This may feel the same as last year, but really, it doesn't feel the same as last year, y'know? That said, let's not do this again.
  20. Come on, gun: Jake is NOT throwing 100 consistently.
  21. #5 RP Greg Holland
  22. Lindor for shortstop?
  23. #9 C JT Realmuto
