    If you bump McNeil out to RF, you put Iglesias at second. You don't bench him in favor of Baty. And if you don't play Baty, what's the point? Agreed with deep-sixing DJ. He's done virtually nothing.

    Gary Cohen used every opportunity to insert things like 'feats of strength' and 'airing of grievances' into his play-by-play, because he knew Festa was going to be a tiny waterbug skittering across the pond of the Mets 2024 season, leaving little trace of his existence.

    Nice to see JD get 3 hits as he'd been slumping. Alvarez got a full day off, which was nice. No need to use Diaz, but I'm a little pissed at Young fouling the nest badly enough that they had to bring Dedniel Nunez into a game with a 7-run lead. Impressed with Matos- K, K, pop-up and didn't seem to be fooling around out there.

    Totally awesome game. Took a while to get going, but once it did, fun. Of course the bullpun had to load the bases in the 8th AND 9th, but wriggled free. Hooky games are the best

    They moved Wood up to third in the order. That didn't take long.

    Why? Iglesias has been hitting and plays marvelous defense at second (and third). Frankly, at this point Baty is insurance if something happens. He's certainly not taking the third base job away from Vientos. Baty's had numerous chances and hasn't really performed. He should be stashed quietly at Syracuse until a need arises. LBRWHIUWNH!!!! (Leave Baty Right Where He Is Unless We Need Him)
