  1. Not watching until they win. I missed most of the 2003 season this way.
  2. Better hope they lose. 90 degrees on Thursday.

  4. Wasn't going to watch yesterday either but after gardening I came in to see them with a 7-1 lead. So I sat down and watched in horror.
  5. Not gonna watch until they win.
  6. Raise your hand if you thought going into Spring Training that the offense would be decent and the pitching would just flat-out suck in 2017.
  7. Harvey will barely go 5 tonight. Another night to overwork the bullpen.
  8. Ay caramba. Waiting for the Shea Bridge to collapse next.
  9. That's not Adriana Lima, is it? If so, kudos.
  10. Really getting to the end of my string with Harvey. I think he'll be gone this offseason and I won't miss him. Did we ever identify who the sex toy product placement person was?
  11. Desperation move. He's probably better than Wilk and certainly better than Montero.
  12. I was in PA and was able to watch on the SNY streamy thing for the first time. Exciting!
  13. Harvester just not looking right.

Boy, Braden was annoyingly awful. Trying much too hard to be a 'character' in the ESPN infomercial that Sunday Night Baseball has become. An excellent firing.
  15. Lucky or smart I dunno, but Tom House called this injury back in February. http://www.northjersey.com/story/sports/columnists/bob-klapisch/2017/02/17/klapisch-pitching-expert-says-syndergaard-risk/98052410/
  16. And he was cutting loose with 100 MPH fastballs. Sometimes you're not as strong and as smart as you think you are.....
  17. Yes, I'm sure there are union rules about this stuff, and in most cases the player consents to the MRI anyway. This one's on Noah. The Mets could have argued with him (and especially with his agent), but like Sandy said, realistically they couldn't strap him down to get it done.

I'd say losing your ace for an indefinite period of time in the process of losing a game by 18 runs and giving up the second most runs ever in 56 seasons, and ending the day in last place, welllll......if you can't overreact then, when CAN you overreact?
  19. Did Sandy strap him down? Just for laughs?
  20. Well, now the starter every fifth day will be...........................Gilmartin, he of the 13.50 ERA? Montero, who's had more chances than Steve Howe and screwed up every one of them? Kevin Plawecki? Doug Sisk? I mean, who? Anyone not currently on the 40-man that they can take a flyer on? They should have signed Doug Fister to a minor league deal and stashed him in Vegas for something like this.
  21. Well, maybe they can pull a Kelly Johnson type thing again with the Braves for Bartolo. 'Cuz Gilmartin/Montero every 5th day is going to be uuuuuuugly.
