1. I'm confused by my comment above about two G-Fafifs.
2. The reign of King Shit Only was brief but storied.
3. Shutout broken up two innings back, Gar.
4. All part of the corporate conspiracy against Jazz.

6. Well, there goes that shutout. Agreed on the shift. Agreed, agreed, agreed.
7. Wait a micron. I get up to piss, and the Marlins get a baserunner? Wtf?
8. What I know of Taijuan Walker is that he has thrown 68 pitches through five innings.
9. ⧓-1 strikes out the side again. I'm not even particularly sure I've seen a well struck ball by the Marlins.
10. Taking two games back from the Braves in two days would be sweet. They weren't going to win forever.

I'd love to say that this means I am most qualified to join the Mets booth, but it turns out that the artist on "I Got the Power" was Snap. Deep shame.
12. I'm kinda tired of the shot, following a terrific effort resulting in a close play, cutting to the bench coach picking up the phone to talk to his replay specialist while the manager stares at him. Fortunately, they spared us during that terrific play by Lindor in the hole.
13. Terrific job striking out the side, all looking, in the first, as their leadoff batter tried to steal his way around the bags.
14. Everyone in the booth gakking on their C&C Music Factory knowledge.
15. =roger_that post_id=96519 time=1655576264 user_id=128] I don't think I'm trying to make the case that athletes never make mistakes. Sometimes you try to throw a pitch low and it ends up high.
16. The old Chicago—>Clash misdirection. Nicely played.
17. =roger_that post_id=96509 time=1655569426 user_id=128]Folks all the time maintain that MLB pitchers can throw strikes all day long, any time they choose, but to me Medina last night is a perfect example of that thesis being simply WRONG.

And dare I say, spectacular... https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cebu2vBF5AO/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cebu2vBF5AO/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Those of you who haven't yet clicked this link, do yourself a real favor. It's like Fonzie somehow summoning Jerry Vale.

20. So it's pretty much the first time in two weeks the Mets were able to tack on to their lead. It's probably time for every National League team with designs on the post-season to start coming up with an anti-Yankee strategy. The Mets lock up with them for two games in the second series after the All-Star Break. They have days off before and after the series, so they should be able to set their rotation any way they want.
21. Syracuse beat the turncoat Norfolk Tides tonight 14-5, running away with the game by scoring seven over the last three innings. Outfield Daniel Paika hit his 15th homerun. Syracuse struck out 17 Tides, and Norfolk responded by sending 14 Mets back to the bench. Three True Outcome Baseball appears to be alive and well in the International League. I believe the OrangeMets have two relievers (Otañez and Montes de Oca) hitting 102.
22. We're getting some sloppy mop-up from Adonis.
