  1. Dominic Smith has a slight hint of Tyson lisp. Underscores the teenager in the man.
  2. Eh blah. Until I hear it from Elias, I'm calling bullshit. And I'm transplanting the misposts.
  3. Two-run dubble, Rubble! Thought it would be three.
  4. Spin swinging 2-0 (bleh) pops out.
  5. Two men on and Quint gets a bunt single. The Mets first hit with a RiSP in the series, but produces no run. Directly, anyhow. The inning be young.
  6. It was the Ankiel-Aardsma equinox. I was listening to the radio. Did the TV booth even invoke the notion that Ankiel take the mound?
  7. A one-one tie in the third. Lagares shows us the way with a 75-foot single.
  8. Congratulations to #1 in your databases, but #955 in your chronologies, David Aardsma, shown celebrating his Yankee-liberation with wifey Aandrea.
  9. Dietrich really is the Jerman Jeter.
  10. Duda gonna get a face fulla cream pie.
  11. Ashie62 wrote: Terry Collins is incompetent A bit of a rush to judgment.
  12. Derek Dietrich --- the Jerman Jeter.
  13. Wait, put Recker in the game but don't pinch-run for Buckles?
  14. Yeah, well, be that as it may, I was 100% confident that Terry felt otherwise.
  15. You wait until Buck gets to second before you pinch-run.
  16. Turner to Ozuna: "Get a real beard, Rook."
  17. Depends upon platoon splits. I'm not sure, but I may go with Ankiel.
  18. Tightness in the lower back for Harvey. Probably nothing. Possibly everything.
  19. Seemed to be a festival of bad execution. Pierre, who I imagine is one of the top ten sac-bunters of all time, faked out his own runner by pulling the ball back so late. Buck almost lost the runner hung out there by throwing before he committed to a base. Then neither the lead runner worked to give the trailing runner as much time to break as possible, nor did the trailing runner break at all.
  20. That's the way to get out of it.
  21. That yella stripe on the M in Miami just looks like a yorkie peed on everybody's shirt. Looks worse on white, but stil.
  22. They ain't gonna break no 1962 Mets records. There's talent on this team, if under-ripe. Was nothing on the 1962 Mets like this pitcher Miami threw at us today. Meanwhile and ominously unexpected exit for Harvey...
  23. Fernandez has a tasty looking glove.
  24. What if, after a little patience, love, and stumbles along the way, Lagares maybe turns out to be good? Any notion that he may be worth that kind of commitment?
