At last report, the leading vote-gobblers in the American League All Star campaign were: C: Perez, S | KC 1B: Hosmer, E | KC 2B: Infante, O | KC 3B: Moustakas, M | KC SS: Escobar, A | KC OF: Cain, L | KC OF: Trout, M | AN OF: Gordon, A | KC DH: Morales, K | KC MLB has reasonably detected that there's been some hyjinx perhaps extending beyond the typical Wild West farce that we've come to expect, and thrown out up to 60 trillion votes, or something. So there will be a new ranking at next report, or maybe not. Of course, MLB deliberately set up a system to encourage abuse (generate interest, Edgy, generate interest!) and then tried to give it credibility by making the outcome of the game have an impact on the eventual MLB championship. These two values are obviously at odds with each other so now MLB is in the painful position of trying to determine which votes are sincere and credible, and which are meant to undermine the system. Vote a thousand times! But no punk voting, Johnny!
