  2. They found him. His name was Ruggiano, God rest his oft-injured soul. On the other hand, switching somebody to the 60-Day and adding Travis Tajieron could have worked, at some level.
  3. The nails come out.
  4. If they continue with him as their crowned prince of superstardom, I sure hope have get a manager who can get him to play hard, instead of one who talks like a no-bullshit guy but seems to brook a lot of bullshit. Love you, Terry. Don't get me wrong. And yeah, the steal of third put him the right spot but a few pitches too late.
  5. Centerfield wrote: You re-sign him after he opts out. Well, that could depend on a lot of factors. Dollars and years and willingness to play right and such. Mostly dollars and years. But that indifference ... it's a lot uglier a look when you're not hitting 30 homers, but instead hitting 18.
  6. So, what do you do with this guy? He's a one man cannon of offensive potential about to be released at any moment, but that jogging show was not only utter bullshit, but so consistent with his act. The steal of third was pretty consistent too. Like his most celebrated throws coming after misplays, it's like he has to dig a hole of indifference before finding the motivation to dig out with the full power of his machine of excellence.
  7. Swung at two ballz. No way I'd've let him swing 2-0.
  8. A walk wins it.
  9. Lefty Specialist wrote: Holy shit, you give Terry 39 players and he goes batshit crazy. Plawecki? Really? Wecki.
  10. That's right, Bobby. He called you a RACIST.
  11. batmagadanleadoff wrote: Gil Hodges woulda walked out to second base by now, asked Yoenis if he's hurt or something, and then taken him outta this game no matter how Yoenis responded. That's the funny thing about Terry. He carries himself like he yields no quarter. He talks like he yields no quarter. And he yield quarters all over the place. But there he goes.
  12. Sheeesh, guys, run hard.
  13. I guess if Lagares' turn comes around, he gets swapped out for Bruce or Nimmo or somebiddy.
  14. Thinking back to that popup Reed got. Granderson could have let it drop in and then gotten Enciarte forced out at second, and taken this speed off the bases.
  15. TJ sez Shift this.
  16. Oh, right. John Gant and and the stop-action animation pitching motion.
  17. Bartolo is fielding angry.
  18. Bartolo, man, swing. Swing for all of us who will never get a chance to.
  19. You get one run you, run-grubbers. God, would you want anybody but Bartolo pitching this eve?

  21. That curly headed young lady totally pulled a Diamond Dad there.
  22. Recker rung up on a pitcher four inches off the plate, although the previous pitch was a strike. Colon seemed to hold up his hands four inches apart as he walked off the field.
