Yeah, or at least, don't pop up like that.

Squeeze, Rosario!

I was complimenting your knowledge of the Mets farm system and you replied with condescension. Learn to take a compliment. Don't tell me that Rhame has shown me anything because all he's shown me is that he wears glasses. I didn't condescend. I encouraged hope. Rhame closed out the Mets game one victory in this series with a scoreless ninth just two days before. He had been un-scored upon in 4 1/3 innings covering four games since his his recall.

On July 27, the Mets traded Lucas Duda to Tampa Bay for Drew Smith. On July 31, the Mets traded Addison Reed to Boston for Jamie Callahan, Stephen Nogosek, and Gerson Bautista. On August 9, the Mets traded Jay Bruce to Cleveland for Ryan Ryder. On August 12, the Mets traded Neil Walker to Milwaukee for Erik Hanhold. On August 19, the Mets traded Curtis Granderson to Los Angeles for Jacob Rhame. Of course it isn't by accident. Lots of teams that are losing trade expensive veterans in the last year of their contract. They still look for talent. It happens all the time.

Cabrera doesn't look like his legs are OK.

I think there's plenty of good there. Meanwhile, I've never seen a 1-2-5 double-play before.

Well, if one of them provides quality starting, they won't be as needed in the pen.

To me, it's less Ramos (who, yes, was quite stinky) and more about pulling your starter early and using your two longest relievers early, and so sending yourself into extras with the least of you options available.

Wow.

Bring in Matz!!

Glub.

Daddy's tired. Come on, you Mets!!

Hasn't reached today, but he brings the thunder on defense. Nimmo.

Gsellie isn't smellie.

[bigpurple:3nj6hrxg]. Let's go, Mets!! Let's go, Mets!![/bigpurple:3nj6hrxg]

When Nimmo is chasing you out of the strike zone, you're deceiving people.

flegh

Half of me wants Reyes to bunt, even though there's two outs. The other half says Reyes has as much a chance against this guy as anybody. Hit a homer.

Uh-oh. Hader's gonna hade.

And, to a greater extent, Gonzalez. But now, with two outfielders DL'd, it isn't much of an issue.

Made Aguilar look like an amateur.
