That's a great PF track up above by the way. Even with the sorta-sweet/rather-icky way Keef sings a luv song to his younger siblings. That's the Wrecking Crew backing that track. It's funny to see this poor little non-musician 10-year-old trying to mime a drum track laid down by Hal Blaine, or Lori trying to pump all those great horn lines out of her electric parlor organ. -

Tatis is, again, our highest-ranked wrong guess, coming in 17th place with an .801 OPS as a Met at Citi Field in his 223 visits to home plate. Ramon Castro (I assume you mean him and not Marisol) was with the Mets for 3+ seasons, but most of it was in the pre-Citi Field Era, and he only got to the plate 35 times at home in 2009. (Smoked the ball when he did, though.) Valentino Pascucci, while also a non-qualifier, is an interesting case. He came to the plate only 11 times as a Met. He was 0-3 on the road, but rocked a 1.125 OPS in eight trips at home. Also Guessed: Lucas Duda (#11), David Wright (#12), Brandon Nimmo (#13), Gary Sheffield (#14), T.J. Rivera (#15), Angel Pagan (#16), Fernando Tatis (#17), Asdrubal Cabrera (#19), Neil Walker (#23), Ike Davis (#25), Scott Hairston (#26), Daniel Murphy (#27), Marlon Byrd (#30), Juan Uribe (#32), Kelly Johnson (#34), Curtis Granderson (#38), T.J. Rivera (#15), Kelly Johnson (#44), Dom Smith (#45), Mike Baxter (#58), Ramon Castro (DNQ), Zach Lutz (DNQ), Val Pasucci (DNQ). HINT TIME The guy we're looking for probably won't make the Hall of Fame. He might not even make a second ballot. But he probably won't get shut out on the first one. -

Strange times when the Yankees have more money on the DL than the Mets. They should match up in a game of Strat: Wright and Céspedes vs. Ellsbury and Stanton. -

Kelly Johnson? She was good. But certainly not top-ten good. Kelly is our 44th best home OPS guy at Citi Field, with a .681 OPS across 156 plate appearances. He's beaten Dom Smith, though ... so far! How 'bout Frenchy? That's the sort of guess we used to call "The French Mistake." Jeff Francoeur was what the French call, "un peu mieux que terrible," coming in 34th place with a .708 OPS in 367 Citi trips to the plate. On the other hand, do that, Kelly Johnson. Willets Point wrote: Cory Sullivan. Well, hose me down and splash me all over with Jean Naté. I thought we'd still be at this two weeks before anybody guessed Sullivan. I mean, what kind of name is that?! Ridiculous!! But here you are, pulling a Cory out of your pants and more or less clinching the contest. My stars and garters, I'm impressed! Cory F. Sullivan has the fourth-highest home OPS in Citi Field history among dudes with 50 or more plate appearances, rocking a .920 figure across 69 trips to the dish. Congratulations! We'll keep the last one up until somebody guesses it or another working day has ended. Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: Zach Slutz And that's not it!! Zach is, in fact, the first guess among folks who don't even qualify, having amassedd only 37 plate trips over small parts of two seasons. Chad ochoseis wrote: Mike Baxter Not in the ballpark. What an incredible concentration of Met moments, good, bad, and weird. As a writer, I would have been paralyzed by the proliferation of angles to take. Juan Uribe Always a fun answer. A guy who looked 100, carried an extra 44 pounds, swung as hard as anybody, and tried to fake it as a middle infielder. But Juan is #32 on our list with a .711 OPS in 72 plate appearances in Citi Field. I'm surprising myself by going with "Pennant Pressure." "Mona" is inspired, but there's puzzling detail. Is her camouflage undershirt meant to invoke Randy Myers? Randy was gone for about a year and a half by this point. And he only wore short-sleeve camo, as I imagine any exposed sleeves of the pitcher's have to be uniform in color. Plus, if it's a Myers reference, Mona should be lefthanded. And her glove looks like it's from 1932. The pissy, childish, God-dammit-every-call-is-supposed-to-benefit-ME! face that Rose is making cinches it for me, even if half the shot is obscured.

I feel consumed by guilt, because when a quiz stumps Greg, it is a categorically unfair quiz. Marlon comes in at #30 with a .712 OPS over 223 plate appearances. Angel is always a good answer to quizzes such as this, in part because just to invoke his name is to conjure up the most perfect beard in Mets history. Alas, Angel's two Met tenures bring him in at #16 on our list, with an .806 OPS over 766 plate appearances. We're doing a spanking good job of coming up with #s 11-20. Important to note, our remaining three will be a special challenge, because each has fewer than 100 plate appearances as a Met. Thinking caps: on. Carlos Delgado: .993_____ J.D.
